Lab Manager
Position Objective
The Human Fusions Institute (HFI) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Manager to join our dynamic team. The Lab Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories by coordinating various research activities and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate laboratory and research activities, ensuring seamless operation.
– Schedule staff and manage the use of advanced research equipment.
– Reorder supplies and maintain inventory to support ongoing research.
– Enforce security protocols and safety standards in the laboratory.
– Work closely with students and principal investigators to facilitate research activities.
– Monitor and track laboratory equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.
– Train lab technicians and assistants on the correct use of equipment.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples.
– Maintain documentation of laboratory events and activities.
– Manage laboratory personnel schedules and equipment usage.
– Handle security documents and safeguard all collected data.
Qualifications:
– Strong managerial skills and technical knowledge to oversee lab operations.
– Experience in maintaining laboratory safety and operational standards.
– Ability to manage supplies, track equipment, and ensure efficient lab operations.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
