Interactive Demos & Community Engagement: HFI Fall 2026 Open House

—

The Human Fusions team put together 15(!) hands-on demo activities for our biannual open house.

We were joined by local high school students, as well as representatives from Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University. By making research tangible and interactive, we’re creating opportunities to ask questions, test ideas, and imagine what the future of human-technology interaction could look like.

Fall 2026 Open House visitors particularly enjoyed exploring how the human nervous system can receive sensory feedback from a device across the room…and across the world!

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, engaged with the demos, shared their perspectives, and brought their enthusiasm for research and innovation.
